Bijvoorbeeld als de gewone behandeling niet of onvoldoende blijkt te werken of omdat het dier te veel last heeft van bijwerkingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\">In mijn praktijk gebruik ik het vaak als aanvullende therapie naast bijvoorbeeld de laser, de manuele therapie, kruiden of voedingstherapie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\"><strong>Bij welke aandoeningen kan acupunctuur helpen bij dieren?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\">Acupunctuur bij uw dier kan bijvoorbeeld een positieve invloed hebben op de behandeling bij:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"color:#005d46\" class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-block-list wp-elements-8\">\n<li>Hernia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Angst<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Artrose<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Herstel na orthopedische operaties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Huidklachten, zoals jeuk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gewrichtspijn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nekpijn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maag- en darmklachten<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allergie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nierproblemen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weerstandsverbetering, bij bijvoorbeeld kanker of infecties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Auto-immuunziektes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\"><strong>Hoe werkt acupunctuur bij dieren<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-10 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\">Het stimuleren gebeurt met naalden. Dit zijn hele dunne naaldjes die in de huid worden aangebracht. De hoeveelheid naalden kan vari\u00ebren van enkele tot een tiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-11 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\">Een behandeling duurt meestal 20 minuten tot een half uur. Afhankelijk van het behandelplan wordt de behandeling meerdere keren herhaald, met als tussentijd enkele dagen tot weken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-12 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\"><strong>Hoe reageren dieren op acupunctuur?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-13 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\">De meeste dieren blijven zodra de naalden zijn aangebracht gewoon op hun plek zitten. De naalden zijn zo dun dat uw huisdier deze bijna niet voelt. De gevoeligheid ligt vooral aan de lokalisatie van het acupunctuurpunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-14 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\">Uiteraard blijft u er bij de behandeling gewoon bij. Zo weet u zeker dat uw dier niet schrikt en zich op zijn\/haar gemak voelt. Soms vallen er na een tijdje naaldjes uit. Dit is normaal en is niet erg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-15 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#005d46\">Merkt u dat uw dier erg moe is na de behandeling en\/of veel dorst heeft? Dit komt regelmatig voor.
